HORRIBLE how am i supposed to watch my porn!!!??!!What would life be like without the internet?
You would keep every magazine, newspaper, and postcard you ever got so you could look up some bit of information when you need it. You would order catalogs by mail every time you got an address for one. If you couldn't find what you want that way you would go to the local library and spend days hunting through the card catalog and the magazine archives. After a while you would give up that search and wander through the stacks looking at random books. You would spend evenings listening to the radio or watching the television to get a feeling of being in touch with the rest of the world. Sometimes you would listen to music on 12" plastic disks, 20 minutes on each side. Teens would collect music on 7" disks, one song on each side.
it was awesomeWhat would life be like without the internet?
harder but better
It would be crap, because it's how most people express themselvesWhat would life be like without the internet?
more corrupt because all we will have is tv to inform us on current events
We would all be ducks
This is an easy question I have lived before and after it. :) Life without the Internet would be less complex. Children would spend a lot less time sitting at a desk and outside doing children things and enjoying life. Finding information about something you needed to know about would result in you asking someone you know who is knowledgeable of that topic or going to the public library or college library and actually hunting for it. It would take more work but you would appreciate the effort you put into finding it more. Children would not be exposed to adult information at such a young age. Parents would work together to figure out how to raise a family instead of depending on supposedly "experts" on the Internet. Families would sit at a table to eat as a family and going to the movies would be a treat. Friendships would be with people you know and not someone you formed a relationship on the net with. Though I must confess, I have several really super friends on the Internet. Communication between children and their parents would be more open. There would be more family vacations or just vacations, in general, where people would actually relax and enjoy themselves instead of being tied down by laptops or computers. Young people would not be thinking about having sex or doing drugs because it would not be openly discussed and it would be considered bad. People would have to do more reading, and more math skills on their own and letters would be hand written instead of e-mailed. I do think it is a great educational tool. Teachers would have to develop worksheets on their own by using their own ideas instead of using someone elses. Shopping would be done going to a store instead of logging on and clicking on what you want. While the Internet has many good features and does a lot of good, in my opinion, it has corrupted our youth's minds and their beliefs.
