disconnect the router from mail power source for 15 sec, then put it back in. wait 1-2 min and go to your coumputer and reconnect to your wireless sourceHow can i connect in the internet its say limited access and i dont know what to do?
nene, yes of course you can reset your gateway as well as your computer, most of the time that is all it takes. If you want to be absolutely sure it is not your computer failing you, reset in the correct sequence: First the computer, then the gateway - then restart your gateway and then your computer. The AT%26amp;T gateway takes up to 8 minutes to come back up again. you will see the green light for network, blinking. Now if that does not work, you have to consider to possibilities: either your network card (NIC card) is defective, or you will have to go into the property sheet of that card. You will have to go to system - device manager and look for the device, whatever it may be called. Once you are in device manager, and found the device, delete it, then go to top of box on the left you will see Action, click on it, then choose Scan for hardware changes. That should bring your device back on the list. If this does not work, you could always look for another driver on the web (update driver). if no change after that, most likely your device is defective, even though it does not say so. There is one more thing, but you would need to be familiar with computers before you do this, other hrwise you may just make things worse. Go to the property sheet of the network device, and se if you find anything out of order. the problem with this is that you most likely don't know what is right or wrong.
If you still have a problem, then call ATT and subscribe for a month, it's 15 bucks don't you think that would be worth 15 bucks?
good luck
