I've been on a bunch of website that are "down" or "upgrading", what's going on? is this SOPA coming into place, or is there a new logical that they are all downloading? help me understand?What is going on with the internet?
A lot of web sites are updating their web site because of windows 7 and next will be windows 8. Also some web site are closing because of financial reasons. SOPA is only MAD at the government not other web sites.What is going on with the internet?
its SOPA, theyre shutting down many movie/tv show link hosting websites and file sharing websites such as megaupload/megavideo.com because of their piracy issues, which means that the rich people want more money and they think that those websites are making them lose money they could make. those sites are free, so the people creating the content arent getting money for their movies/songs/tv shows.
so, theyve arrested the megaupload guy with like 5 charges regarding piracy issues. who knows who is next?
